Before choosing a tutorial school, it’s important to review the “Terms and Conditions” or “Company Policy” on their website—or take note if they don’t have one. This ensures you fully understand what you’re signing up for. Pay close attention to policies regarding refunds, fees for repeating classes, makeup sessions for missed classes, and whether you can retake courses for free if you don’t pass the exam.

Some schools avoid publicly disclosing their policies, while others bury key details within lengthy and irrelevant terms. By the time you realize there are no refunds or guarantees, you may have already lost interest in reading further—these tactics are often red flags of a scam.

At Excel Realty Academy, we value transparency. Our terms are straightforward, easy to read, and clearly outlined—just like the way we teach our material.

We encourage you to review our policies and compare them with other institutions, so you can confidently make the right choice.

Terms and Policies

• UBC Bulletins: Bulletins are posted on the UBC Course Resources Webpage. These outline significant revisions to course materials and assignments. Students are responsible for all material contained in any posted bulletins.
• Electronic Devices: Audio, video recording and taking picture are NOT permitted in our classroom.
• Violators will be expelled without any refund and prosecuted.
• You may handle phone calls/text messages outside the classroom.
• Reproduction of Materials: All of our course materials are copyrighted and trademarked—copying or reproducing of any kind is NOT permitted.
• If a student is caught selling, teaching, sharing, or otherwise distributing Excel Realty Academy material for any reason, the student will be expelled without any refund and prosecuted!

Refunds

• Registered Excel Realty Academy students can cancel their tutorial course and obtain a full course fee refund (less administration and processing fee) up to 15 full days prior to the first day of class.
• A 20% administration and processing fee applies to all refunds.
  
  
• Restrictions on refunds are as follows:
• Any cancellation/rescheduling during the first 15 days before class start date, the fee is non-refundable, — the student may choose to register for another class within the next six months by paying 50% of the course fee.
• If a student cancels/reschedules again, the second payment is non-refundable again, — they may choose to register for the 3rd time by paying the full course fee.
• Once a student receives the Excel Realty Academy material or access to our online real estate training, the Excel Realty Academy fee is non-refundable REGARDLESS of whether or not the class has started.
• Once the class begins, the course CANNOT be paused or deferred to a later date, and is non-transferrable. NO refunds will be issued; however, students are eligible for a 50% discount on registration for a new class within the next six months.
• Refunds will be made in the same method by which payment was received.

What if I miss a class or two?

• We understand that there may be circumstances outside your control that force you to miss a class or two. We try to be as understanding as possible about this and will often reschedule a few classes at no cost.
• However, if you cannot commit 100% to your real estate classes and to the related studies at home, this may not be the best time for you to register for our real estate course, we kindly ask you to NOT register.
• Again, if you believe that your attendance will be irregular, or you cannot commit to attending your classes in a timely manner, or you do not have the time to study for a few hours per day until you pass the real estate exam, we kindly recommend that you postpone your registration with us until you are in a position to make full use of our excellent programs.
• We offer 100% commitment to our students in every aspect of this course by spending a tremendous amount of time, effort and energy in helping them to succeed—in return we expect the same level of commitment from our students.
  
  
• Our standards are pretty high and our real estate classes are suitable for those who have focus, full commitment and determination to pass the real estate exam.

Course Repeats

• We do not offer illusory "unlimited classes" just to get you in. We believe that if this task is taken seriously even a person with 2 jobs or a mom with 4 children should pass this exam within our generous timetable.
• Remember, you are not taking this tutorial class to become a lifetime student.

Payment Method

• Fees are fully payable with registration.
• You can make payment with cash, e-transfer, or by credit card through PayPal online registration only.
• Please setup an appointment with a “Rolex” shop and see if they would offer instalment plans/scams ... they would NOT even sell you a ROLEX watch on your FIRST visit ... they know their product well and they are proud of what they sell!
• Those who offer quality also offer an IRONCLAD guarantee that their product or service will not break; and if it does, they offer a free replacement, same as we offer FREE repeat class IF you fail through our help.

Access to Online Training

• Access is given to our tutorial participants ONLY,—we do NOT sell access to our online training.
• If a student shares access to our online with others, this privilege will be revoked immediately and the student will be expelled without refund.
• Access is granted for 3 months (12 weeks) counting from the date of the first class—you may receive access sooner, which does not count towards your 3 months.
• If you drop out from the classes your access to our online training material will terminate immediately; the same will result if you keep rescheduling/postponing classes.
• Missing the mock exam class will not extend your 3-month (12 weeks) access period—enrolling sooner will give you extra time to better prepare.
• Other conditions may apply to access our complimentary online material.

6-Month Guarantee

• If you do not pass the UBC exam, you can retake it after 90 days. You pay a fee of approximately $200 to the UBC for this.
• If you attend and participate in all the twelve classes consecutively as well as the mock exam class after completing all classes, per your schedule, complete all the homework, reviews, and lessons, and write the UBC exam within 4 weeks after completing your "Excel" schedule while things are still fresh in your mind, you cannot fail your exam!
• However, should you fail the exam; we will welcome you back to re-enroll in our next available class for FREE!
• No questions asked other than the proof of failure requirement.
• You must re-enroll within 3 months of failing the UBC exam, which can be up to 6 months starting from your 1st class and NO fee is charged.
• These time limitations are put to ensure you repeat the classes while things are still fresh and you are capable of improving the weak areas effectively; write your 2nd exam sooner and pursue your career the soonest as possible.
• After 6 months from your FIRST class have passed our regular fee will apply.
